Agrocarne & Agrolácteos
Agrocarne is a division of the Central Romana Corporation which processes meat through its modern meat production plant. Created in 1966, Agrocarne has since carried out an important roll in the local meat market. The Agrocarne company has exported its high quality products to countries worldwide, including Mexico, the United States of America, Puerto Rico and Russia. Agrocarne sells most of its meat products through the Higueral brand. These products include: Sausages, Hot Dogs, Cured ham etc.
With the acquisition of Buffalo milkmaids, the Central Romana Corporation created Agrolácteos, a company dedicated to the production of dairy products. Agrolácteos primarily produces Buffalo mozzarella, as well as regular mozzarella cheese marketed through its Higueral brand. In the future, Agrolácteos plans to expand into a wider range of dairy products.
